I went to sleep knowing

that I did my best

to be a good man today

CHOOSE ME by Steven Skelley

  CHOOSE ME is a song I composed about the feeling of wanting to fit in. It took me decades of growing up to realize that the only one I need to "choose me" is me. As a grown man now, I'm no more like a bough blown in the breeze. No more do I bleed from a painful need to constantly please. I am now at peace. I've made my mind cease to want to fit it.
